Most government resorts and lodges are affordable; you can choose from deluxe, semi deluxe or dormitory facilities. Here again, you can choose from AC and non AC rooms. The rooms are decent and service is reasonable. Government hotels are located at Port Blair, Carbyn’s Cove, Havelock Island, Neil Island, Rangat, and Diglipur. There are forest guest houses at places like Chidiyatapu, Wandoor, Mount Harriet, etc. For those looking for dormitory or double bed Non AC rooms, there’s a youth hostel near Netaji Stadium, Port Blair. Mid Range:

Beach resorts around Havelock Islands, Port Blair, Wandoor are more expensive than other, yet affordable. You can also choose a tour package that is inclusive of food, accommodation, and sightseeing. Barefoot at Havelock Island is a popular resort with a lot of reviews on Trip Advisor and Lonely Planet. And so is The Wild Orchid!

Top End:

There aren’t too many 5 star hotels in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. But the ones that are available charge upwards of INR 5000/ night. Some of these include SeaShell Beach Resort, Fortune Resort at Port Blair, Sea Shell at Neil Islands etc.
